Eeeeee!

(But that's a good "Eeeeee!" :-) )

Yay for our heroes bringing non-conformity to the future of humanity! Thanks for sharing!

Oh my God!

I loved this! I would go on, but there are really no words that I can use to properly convey how much this rocked

Wow.

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if just one Faith is enough to crack the whole thing wide open...

It is a measure of the human spirit and its endless capacity for stupidity that they actually consider refusing the Initiative's offer.

Sometimes I wonder if all life is a struggle against surrendering to fascism. That's the bad days. They do present themselves as the only logical response to the worst case scenario, as you've so perfectly painted here.

Hopefully, there will always be those that come up with endless hypotheses in response to the press of endless threats.

Faith will definitely have an impact on the Initiative. I hope it's enough. This is (obviously) the fic I was worried about being without a shred of hope - originally I just ended it in the compound, and it was too much. But having a happy ending just couldn't have fitted. So this... well, it's safer. It may be better. But they aren't kidding themselves that it *has to* be better.

Not sure which part of this scary new world is scariest - that there's no one left, or that there is someone left... and they're Initiative. Well, well done.

This story completely freaked me out. Where on earth it came from, and how the only 'hope' I could come up with was that the Initiative survived too... yikes. But I'm really glad it had some resonance for you.
