It's alright. We'll go to the spa after breakfast and and then we'll drive back. There is time for a longer a honeymoon when you get some time off and I'm out of school.

Ralph wasn't able to drive up on such short notice, but he's offered to throw a reception for you and your friends at his club. Just let me know when a good time will be for you guys and I'll pass it on to Ralph.

Of course, your mother and I will want to host a party for family and friends, but we'll need some time to plan that.

Please be sure to thank your mother for allowing you to come up on such short notice, Amber. We'll have to have your family over for dinner sometime soon.

Did we ruin your conference? I guess you haven't been able to attend much of anything since we called.

No, you guys should come. I'm sure Eric is going to think it's kind of girly, but if Daddy is there maybe it won't be so bad for him.

I've been thinking about school and stuff and I know you both wanted me to attend medical school at your alma mater, but that really has zero appeal to me. Eric thinks he's likely to stay stationed in Sunnydale for awhile because of his specialty, so I think i'm going to enroll in the nursing program at Sunnydale University this fall.

I know it's not med school, but I do want to be able to help people. I see myself enjoying being a nurse more than a doctor and let's face it, you doctors need good nurses.

Even if you go to school to be a nurse that's not closing off a potential future for being a doctor down the road if you change your mind.

I have heard good things about the trauma nurses from Sunnydale, it sounds like it's on of the better programs and I'm glad you don't want to give up on school all together.

You'll make a great nurse, Sunnydale could always use them, but if I did get reassigned, I know they hire civials at the base hospitals.
