Hoping that I am remembering correctly and that this is a free-for-all posting day. Apologies in advance as I'm not usually a writer type and this is not beta'd.
5 things Giles desperately tried to hide from Buffy but she found out anyway.
1. He tried to hide his leather wearing, guitar playing, demon raising past from her but Ethan Rayne managed to muck that up royally. But it wasn’t only out of shame or regret over the things he’d done. Ripper attracted more than his fair share of the ladies and parading his bad boy past in front of hormonally charged teenagers was not on his list of ways to keep his Slayer focused.
2. He scoured every book for anything that would contradict the prophecy that Buffy would die facing the master but she overheard him arguing with Angel. Her tearful plea nearly broke his heart. At least he only had a few books hurled at him and one right cross to the jaw.
3. He didn’t think about it. He did translations in his head. Recited demon species and anything else mundane he could think about while she could read minds. But he couldn’t stop Joyce from thinking about the sex they’d had on the hood of the police car. Twice. Nor could he avoid that tree, apparently.
4. He was desperate enough to enlist Spike’s help. If only he could find Ethan and have him change him back. Then she’d never have to know that he had been stupid enough to go out drinking with Ethan. And that he had been turned into a Fyarl demon.
5. He thought maybe he’d gotten away with it, passing off his jump at her touch earlier to being startled. They’d been training for about an hour when she tackled him to the ground. He knew he was in trouble when instead of jumping off him like always, she straddled his hips. His panic turned to squirms and giggles as her fingers glided over his ribs and chest. She smiled as her fingers concentrated on the sweet spot that drove him insane. Finding out her Watcher was extremely ticklish was the best thing ever! It worked even better than The Pout.
