Chie does the tango / Miwacchi makes a perfect gigolo

The main cast list for Viento de Buenos Aires has been announced.
While I am surprised to see a bunch of  underclassmen being assigned to do some senior roles (honestly the list looks like a shinko one),  I feel kind of nostalgic -  I saw the 1999 Tsukigumi version live.
That was my first ever Nihon Seinenkan experience.  Along with it came my first ( Read more... )

yuzuki reon, hoshigumi, tsukigumi, shibuki jun, buenos aires no kaze, aine harei

Well, Otohana Yuri has one hell of a voice ... so I'm sure she'll be more than adequate :)

It's just Shibi-san's smoky voice and melancholy presence perfectly matched the tango club.
But yeah, Koro-chan is a very talented singer. I hope she will mold her own Flora :D

Wow, あれをしたことがある sounds so... euphemistic. XD

Otohana Yuri may not quite be able to live up to Shibi-san, but I'm sure she'll sound good! I love her.

Heyyy, Miwacchi, lookin' good. *cheers*

I've come to notice that the siennes also use そういう関係になる to hint that their roles are having a sexual relationship XD **looks into your icon**

You have to wait to see the otokoyaku Miwacchi till this dinner show. She is to play Oscar in the upcoming national tour and reportedly get wooed by Alain/Yuu.

That's so cool that you got to go to Rika's ochakai. And that you saw the 1999 cast...as far as I'm aware only the 1998 version was ever released on video, and it's the 1999 one that has Yoshizuki Eri and Kiriyan :(

My personal best otokoyaku Eri-san is Ricardo in this 1999 Buenos Aires. It's a pity that she was not given more impressive otokoyaku roles after that.

At Rika's ochakai I was struck by her quirky Japanese sentences printed on "Message from Rika-san", which went like
みんなに会えて、うれしいYO!
楽しんでNE!
(Seriously I had trouble making out these "YO" and "NE" until I realized they simply meant よ and ね XD)

wheeeee, Miwacchi looks good! *__*

Funny, I already saw her as a leading Musumeyaku and now suddenly, she shows her manlyness so well XD
I loved her Ota Toyotaro in "Maihime"

I think she has put on her best possible otokoyaku-ness in this photo. She's constantly being given non-otokoyaku roles for more than 1 year (Jeanne in Adieu, Sea Sprite in Red Hot Sea, Oscar in Berubara...)

Don't tell me Miwacchi has had more on-stage romantic moments with Yuu than Ayane.

I haven't seen any Hanagumi Shows since Osa-san's retirement, to be honest....but I get the impression of Ayane being reduced drastically and with very little stage romance between her and her so called partner.

One COULD say, Yuu and Miwacchi were more romantic with each other on "Adieu" XD
