Hmmm...probably moving to Delaware from NYC to take a job after I finished my doctorate. It was also the first time I ever lived on my own.

oh, I'm glad you made it work too. I know you don't have the fond memories that I have, but it's still a fine place to have behind you in a thousand ways (plus I like that we're both Mawrters).

hahah, I just totally went to some mental place where something was happening that no one had told me and so Carlotta wasn't going to be there so we needed a temp and why hadn't anyone told me and is Carlotta okay and it was all bad. whew!

WAIT. HOLY SHIT. in Shared Services? in EXACTLY the department you've just applied for a job?? what an incredible stroke of luck! did you have to suck someone's dick to make that happen? because that is just too perfect.
