Drabble: In Grief
The disheveled man greeting him at the door realized his fears: he shouldn’t have left him alone to grieve. Taking the nonchalantly dropped arm and turned back as a signal to enter, he did so, noticing laundry and clutter everywhere. He’d lost weight: I hope you’ve been eating.
“Want some help?” he asked.
