I'm going to be in Ottawa from Sunday till Friday. Anyone want to have dinner one night?

Also, I'm open to suggestions on places to grab food after work and -- especially -- have a beer. I'll be staying around Queen and Sparks.

It's been about three or four years since I had dinner at this Italian place near your location, but back then at least it was great.

Their menu is absolutely drool-worthy. It goes on the list. I also just checked and it looks like the Sens are playing the Leafs on Wednesday, so I'll find myself a sports bar and cheer on your behalf.

If you can't come to dagibbs's on Sunday, never fear! It's always harder to get out nights with kids. Maybe we can meet up on Tuesday or Thursday or something for dinner if that's better for you. I'd love to see the Peanut again, too.

I've been to Carmello's a couple of times, for lunch. Not bad at all.

Il Primo (www.ilprimo.ca), on the other hand is one of my favourite Italian places. It is, however, not just around the block.
