I liked last week's better than this week - Edgar being awesome! I admire him for not going along with HRG. Using Lydia's power as a reason to get her and Sylar scantily clad is pretty annoying but hey, people watching for shirtless!Zach seem to make up 80% of the audience right now.
I thought Samuel was just bullshitting to Sylar about them being alike, but I guess with this Vanessa stuff they kind of are, as they both hate being treated as second best/not special. (Personally I'd pick Samuel over a music degree. :-P) I liked that they've gone back to pointing out that Samuel is a little crazy though I'm not sure I want everything just to be about an ex-girlfriend. I preferred like the idea that he genuinely does care about his little cult and the other people with powers (I probably shouldn't have found his manipulation of Emma and the stuff with the flower guy endearing, oh dear) even in a screwed up way.
I would have thought less of him if he went along with HRG. His family morals make me love him more. I totally wanted to hug him when he said I won't let you hurt my family. I also squeed when I saw his shadow...it was funny and cool
( ... )
I'm weird and don't actually fancy Zach that much, lord love him. Dawn's not hard on the eyes though. :D
Samuel lies so much though, it's hard to tell! I was a bit irritated by the Vanessa thing at first but actually it does fit with things we've seen already. I actually kind of like the idea that someone who seems so powerful and charismatic is secretly motivated by some rather creepy plan to impress his childhood sweetheart.
I like that it's really hard to tell just to what extent he's manipulating people and that it's completly believable that Emma would think he was a really nice guy. And Peter's just made himself look like a insensitive moron in comparison of course - it's *her* that has the power, not the bloody cello!

Did the new plant growing guy remind you of Claude? Totally did for me.
