Also, while I appreciate and enjoy y'all's appropriation of the term "baby bird," I think it has lost much of its original meaning, thanks to Tams who can't explain what anything means because she is laughing too hard. But I suppose in the end, that's the right kind of appropriation?

Oh, also, growing up is hard and I appreciate your/anyone's struggle with that. I grew up fast and hard and that was all good until recently when I realized that I need to do a lot more. I have never felt so idiotic/not in control of my life as I have since coming to college. I think that possibly I have now realized how many things I don't know/don't do right, and now I work valiantly on growing up the rest of the way. It is not always fun but I think it will work out well in the end. I think it will work out well in the end for you as well.
