My Intro
Well I guess I'm going to do this. Hmmm. I don't know what to say now. I guess I'll start with the basics. I'm a single, 31 year old woman with 3 cats (maybe 4 if the sick kitten I found gets better). I am halfheartedly aspiring to be a crazy cat lady. I'm already crazy, so I'm halfway there, Ha ha.
I have been writing (sort of) since I was 8 years old. I like short stories and then there was my teenage angst years of poetry and now I try to journal on a somewhat regular basis. I say try, because I generally only write when I'm severely unhappy. Fortunately (or unfortunately) I'm unhappy a lot. It's not that there's anything really bad in my life, just nothing really good either.
I love to read, mostly science fiction and romance and I have wasted many, many hours on Myspace and Facebook. (Mostly those darn little addictive games.
I prefer tea to coffee most days.
Right now I'm currently trying to find a job, and I also want to try NaNoWriMo so I'm not sure what will fall away and what will stay. I look forward to reading all the interesting entries in the weeks to come. I've never done LJ Idol before, I was recommended by a friend (flashpapertiger ) and I thought it might be fun. While I keep my this journal in friends mode, I'll be posting some things in addition to the Idol entries public. I'm not sure how many (if any) people I'll friend, but if you send a request, I'll take it under consideration. Just don't be offended if I don't friend you.
