The title was taken(and the song inspired) from a picture John Lennon's first son drew.

Lennon was very inspired by Yoko Onno. He thought she was like his Lucy. He divorced his wife and married Yoko.

Paul McCartney wrote Hey Jude for John Lennon's son to help him out because he was feeling sad at the time.
