I miss being in close contact with a group of people for prolonged periods of time. Hmm... that statement doesn't accurately reflect what I'm thinking.

I think adults have less opportunity/inclination to be part of that kind of intense collective unconscious.

... because we don't have youth as an excuse anymore
... and because we had lots of time to waste then.
