I don't think I've got the words I want to respond to this properly.
Instead? All Of The Hugs In The World. Ilu.

not anymore. Perhaps when we were younger and things felt more black and white than they do now... I dunno... I'm going through a thought process of seeing people as composites of every relationship they have with other people, formed by interactions etc, and I think I think that this makes it important to always be aware of who you have been and who you are. Either that or I'm babbling madly at the computer. The jury's still out...,

♥ for the manics
♥ and hugs for you.

I am so jealous, I havent seen the Manics in 7 years and 10 months (to the day...), and I desperately want to again. If there is ever that magical moment that The Manics play Brighton at the same time I am not epicly poor, I shall.

Big big love for you ♥

I really want to see them again. It was expensive but so, so worth it.

Design for Life, live, 11.30pm, Brighton Centre, 15th December 2002... one of the most magic moments of my life ♥

(And Australia live, was my favourite track at the time, but DFL was pure magic).

If they play Brighton soon and I can afford it you should come too yo!

Yay I'm glad you had a good time! I was worried I wouldn't enjoy the gig because I don't like the new album, but like you said, it's just such a familiar thing seeing the Manics, like an old jumper (this is my metaphor for everything. I must find a new one) that it doesn't matter about the songs you don't like because they'll always play great ones that you do.

They seem to be doing Yes now. I hope they keep that up until Newport.

xx

I actually like Postcards... better than Know Your Enemy or Lifeblood or JFPL, so I enjoyed the new stuff.

I would actually cease to be if I heard them play yes. Enjoy yourself!

Really? It's my second worst album, after Lifeblood. That said, I'm not so keen on JFPL either. Did you see the merch? It was actually really nice for a change!

Aww. I've heard it before. Would love to hear it again though.

Lifeblood doesn't even have ONE redeeming song.

I wanna see them AGAIN!

His favourite band was the Dave Matthews Band, which I believe says everything you need to know about him. He is now a writer for the NME.

I LOL'd really hard at this part. :DDD

Lovely post and the show sounds awesome; love the photo of the mic stand! I get to see them next month for, I'm pretty sure, only the second time ever. My inner 16-year-old is SO EXCITE.

Well it's true! How can they be your favourite band?!?!? It's like COLDPLAY being your favourite band! FFS!

Ahhh I hope you enjoy it!
