So, like, there's this couple and they're pretty cool.

I don't know if you've heard of them.

They're awesome, though, and on this show called L O S T. idk it's pretty popular.

Anyway, they're both blond (adorable, right?) and tall and they're both the smartest smartasses on an island full of them (and, well, crying dudes, too).

So their names are James and Juliet. I really think you'd love 'em.

I just love how James and Juliet fixed each other. It wasn't about what either one of them ever did in their pasts. He was James, and she was Juliet. That's all there was between them.

That's the biggest reason for me loving them. It's like they knew and accepted everything they were, but part of what made them work is that they gently pushed each other to be better, to strive for more. They bettered each other without EXPECTING each other to be better, but knowing that each other could accomplish whatever they wanted.

I think that in LaFleur, when James told Juliet how proud of her he was, it was A Moment. Capitalized.

It's something she needed and deserved.

Absolutely.

And while we never saw A Moment for James, exactly, she always made it so clear that she "had his back". She always thought the best of him, without being blinded to his faults, and I think it's what gave him the confidence to "do something with his life", i.e. become head of security. To know he had her unwavering faith in him was something that he had needed his whole life. No one really ever thought the best of him. She gave him the security of a family, something he never had, and unconditional love.
