I did not understand the cause of the separation of the 'roses' but very powerful personification here. Best tragedy with a phoenix twist I have read in a while.

This has ColdPlay written all over it. When I saw the pics, I thought 'oh, so yellow' and then 'oh, yellow is that lovely song by ColdPlay' and then I read 'Hey, her title is from there' and 'oh, she was listening to that as well'. :)

I always thought yellow was a very weird word. Y.E.L.L.O.W.. no? Wonder who cooked it up.
