A few days ago I overheard a child asking her mother why did some people hate flies and I believe that child was something special.

Female fireflies kill the male under the pretext of mating and then gobbles him down.

This was my fave chapter in Entomology! :P

It affects you for long till you predictably return to the mundane going-ons of regular life. But till then it pinches your heart with its crying innocence.

I was just having a nice discussion with a friend of mine on animation movies today, and there is a bunch of them including this that i haven't seen. Now i have to watch this first before any other movie. :)

Just remember that it has a very sad ending. Its amazing how much emotions a small animation can invoke. A must movie for everyone.

Like Kalyan said...it is a very sad movie. Nothing redeemed here...
