That's gotta be a fake...if anything, it has nothing to do with the boombox. My guess would be that it's something to do with the microwave transmissions between the two phones, and the boombox is there to show the sound of the microwaves, saying that they're powerful enough to distort your radio...but my phone does that all the time, and my arms aren't cooked, so...yeah.
