Merlin -- Hurrah! We Want a Convention!

Just caught up with Saturday's episode of Merlin. That's a bit more like it! I had several moments of squee and I thought the whole episode was well-paced and exciting. Oh, Merlin, I luffs you very much. I really want to sqeeze Colin Morgan.

Showmasters need to do a Merlin convention and they actually said they would if there was enough interest

We really do need to sort out pimping this like a mofo!

Do you want to come up with a template of what we want to say (coz you have more of a way with words than I do), and I can draw together a list of all the comms to post to?

We would definitely need a spiel about what the Showmasters conventions are like/what would be included (presuming they would run it in a similar way to the Hub, of course).

Def! We need something short, explanetary and enticing, really pimp the fact that at these conventions you can get up close and personal with the guests -- signings, photos, talks, hanging out at the bar with the stars!

Let's have a think and come up with a list of points we feel need to be mentioned and I'll construct a post. We could put links to the Facebook group, the Showmasters website and maybe to a con report or two with photos so people can see all the fun.

I'm off to Hallowhedon on Friday so I'll put my thinking cap on and we can work something out when I'm back. We should also come up with a posting schedule to keep the pimping flowing without crossposting or repeating too much. Plant the seed!

LOVED Sat's Merlin. I caught it on iPlayer late last night and it was brilliant. That hug!!
