Under the cut is my very inarticulate report and few photos from my weekend at The Hub 3 convention in Birmingham this weekend. I'm totally exhausted so please excuse the huge gaps in detail and memory.

Ben was totally brill. And Rik! They caught on so fast. In fact, I don't think there was anyone who didn't enter into the spirit eventually.

LOL, it's Welsh for 'Welsh'. Well, not really, but almost! accioscar was teaching me some Welsh in the bar on the Sat night and I had a total giggle fit over it.

So, I know very little about this fandom other than what I read in various fics so I have no idea what people look like (apart from Gareth, John and Naoko - LOVE her!) - in the picture with balloon-Gareth, who are the woman on the extreme left of the picture and the guy with the ascot/scarf?

I want them both.

The woman on the left is Nikki Amuka-Bird who was in one ep of season 2, and the the woman on the right is Katy Wix who played Ianto's sister in Children of Earth. The guy in the scarf is Rik Makarem and he played a doctor in Children of Earth. Very yummy!

Thanks for the report. I'm writing mine but it might take a while. I'm slow and my memory is full of holes. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the seven glasses of wine I drank on Sat...
