I'm getting the feeling that Slade is probably the most honest person in his life right now, and he can't see it because he's (metaphorically speaking) got his eyes closed and his fingers in his ears and he's LA-LA-LAing fit to beat the band. ^^^pets him^^^

A sliver of hope - Dick might be allowing himself to be physically controlled, but mentally he's still strong and knows this is a seriously screwed up relationship. *wibble*
