More Stuffs

Yet again, I have been mostly absent from online life, aside from a few stealth-like activities. The main reason for this (apart from my terribly slow desktop computer) is because of my Open University course. It's a killer this year, an unbelievable amount of work. I had it easy last year, I'm sure. I've just spent the last few weeks studying ( Read more... )

Isn't it just utterly fantastic! I read the 1831 version years ago, but the 1818 version has really smacked me right in the face.

Victor/Henry y/y?

OH YES!!!! So very, very yes!!

NEED TO WRITE IT, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WALTON!!! He so clearly has a hard-on for Victor. why else would he listen to the whole story and still be on his side? HE IS DISTRACTED BY A LARGE BULGE IN HIS TROUSERS!!!

Okay, now I'm thinking Victor/Henry/Monster. Oh dear. YOU MUST HOLD ME DOWN AND STOP MY PERVERSION!

Yes, he's ... {thud} ... gorgeous. (The worrying thing is that he was gorgeous even in the first film, ahem).

It sounds like you're having a very busy but interesting time. Just think of the impact it will have on your own stories! And, thanks to you, I'm reading Fathers and Sons :-)

I was worried for a while that he was going too gangly, but that is such a beautiful shot of him. Worried no more!

I'm hoping it'll have a big impact in the long run. I've already learned some pretty useful and interesting stuff.

OMG, I hope you enjoy Fathers and Sons. I had trouble getting into it and I'm glad I don't have to write an essay on it! At least not yet!

Wow. Wow, Tom Felton.

I read Frankenstein for school years ago, but I have a real thing for Pride and Prejudice. I have, like, three copies of the book, and I keep watching all the different filmed versions that come out.

He looks beautiful, doesn't he?!?! I'm on the floor!

Hee! Oh, I love P&P! Didn't like the most recent film too much, but I loved the series with Colin Firth. I'm watching it at the moment. There's nothing like wet!Darcy to get the heart racing! ;o)

That picture of Tom Felton is all over my flist today.

And hey, I finally downloaded and watched Merlin...I've been told I can't blame you for seeing slash in it...however I'm still blaming you for thinking things like "ooh, look Buckbeak!" though. :)

It's such a gorgeous picture. I'm smitten all over again!

Yay, you watched Merlin!! What did you think? The slash is right there, isn't it? And so is Buckbeak! Hee!

Yes it is a gorgeous picture.

I did watch it. Took me 3 days to download and convert it all to dvd format so I could watch it on tv (I hate watching tv on my laptop). It's great, and yes very slashy...and I don't actually see slash in every fandom so...I mean, I still don't get the Spander thing and that's been years of trying to see what everyone is telling me is there. :) And yeah, it really looked like Buckbeak. They obviously are just borrowing CGI now...

My, but you're working hard!! It'll be great for your writing and ability to analyse literature, including your own, but you barely have time to breathe by the sounds of it. Congrats on finishing your P&P essay. :oD

Can't wait for The Hub2! We've got to start making travelling arrangements and stuff. *wibble*

I can't get into foreverbm's posts. They must be flocked. :(

*clears throat* Is now a good time to tell you I sorta, kinda prefer BJ?

I feel the benefits of the course already, and the books I'm reading are awfully inspiring. It's already prompted some fanfic ideas and I won't be lng before something original comes along!

Yes! Must talk about times and stuff and I must ring the hotel and let them know a rough time of arrival. OMG, exciting!!!

Damn, I didn't think about them being locked. Oh wells, they were hot. Think shower scene :oD

LOL, I knew it!!! I had this sneaking little suspicion!! :OD Wow, is this the first time we've differed on the pairing of choice within a fandom?

We've always said to write the best you can, you have to read the best whether it's in fanfic or pulp novels or high literature.

She very kindly unlocked them! Very, very hot indeed. Oh, mama!!! :oD

LOL, I knew it!!!

There's no fooling you! *g* I've been dropping little hints, but I didn't even make up my own mind until near the end of S3. Yep, it's the first time we've ever had different preferences, I'm pretty sure! Oh well, it'll give us all the more to talk about. LOL!

Hee! It's weird how S3 seems to have made up both our minds. I wasn't hooked until then. I don't know how I managed to ignore M/B in S2, especially as I always thought Michael was awfully cute!
