A thousand apologies to everyone on my other journal for the rampant spamming today. I don't usually like to cross-post, but I do like doing my little book reveiews and this time they are relevent to people on both journals.
I actually quite liked Slow Decay, I definitely did not like Another Life (apart from the little Jack/Ianto flirty bits). I still haven't finished it actually, the plot went waaaay over my head. I get confused way too easily, haha. I haven't actually read Border Princes but I listened to the first half of the audio book, and didn't like what I heard of it.
The next three are definitely better. I really enjoyed Something in the Water despite all the super gross descriptions. Plus it's Trevor Baxendale's, and after reading 'Plant Life' in the yearbook I will be having this man's babies.
Slow Decay was okay, but I had trouble getting into it. I can't help but wonder if a lot of my dislike was down to the distinct lack of Ianto. (Ah, obsession!) Border Princes was just ... naff. I mean, why publish a Torchwood book about an OC? Silly!
The next three are definitely better.
I'm so glad to hear that. I have high hopes!

After seeing your summary of Plant Life, I can't wait to read it. Hurry up, Play!!
Yeah, lack of Ianto was a big turn off for me. I do like it when he hits Owen in Border Princes though. I surprised myself by liking Slow Decay.
And Something in the Water isn't very Ianto heavy, but he has a huge weapon. The other two are heavier on the Ianto, especially Twilight Streets. And Trace Memory has the cutest Jack/Ianto scene evar in mu opinion.

LOL! When Owen smacked him? That was funny, I liked that bit.

o_O Oooh er! I'll look out for that!

I'll leave those two for last, then. And it's so nice to read new stuff (new to me, anyway) with Tosh and Owen. It's still hard to believe they're gone.
Btw, I'm slowly working my way through your one-shot masterlist. My god, there's some brilliant stuff! And I'm only on the Bs! Thank you again.
