You should call your doctor. Allergic reactions can become more serious as you continue to be exposed to the allergen. If your doctor doesn't take it seriously, I'd look for a second opinion pretty quickly. Speaking as someone with a congenital psychiatric disorder, there are many, many antidepressants out there, as well as other meds that can come at the depression sideways, sort of. You shouldn't have to suffer that kind of physical side effect, which is just likely to make you more miserable. *hug*
Shit, this is so typical. I can't seem to do anything simply, oh no, I have to go a get all allergic. I think I'll just keep an eye on myself for the next couple of days until Christmas is over then go see a doctor straight away. Thanks so much for your advice, hon. ~hugs~
Meep. I think it's too late now. The doctors are all closed and it's not bad enough to call one out. I'm just going to sit tight and see what happens. Heat seems to be triggering it so I'm trying to keep myself as cool as possible. The main thing is that I'm still in good spirits :oD
Bugger! Why do they always start a couse of pills just when some holiday season is on at the same time as the side effects? The same thing happened to me over a Christmas period, and it wasn't till after the New Year that they sorted it out!
Oh no! Honey, I am so sorry about those horrid hives!!!! That's just awful!!! Is there anything they can do? Maybe put you on different happy pills or something?
I'm gonna have to wait until after Christmas now, but maybe they'll probably change the pills, which is a shame because I think they are working. Damn.
That just stinks, hon! Side effects are evil! I hope they find something else that works but doesn't give you hives. It's a darn shame these can't be an unmixed blessing.
