Remember a while back I said that I was going to read every Buffy and Angel Novel I could find and review it for you guys? Well, I wasn’t lying. I’ve been reading but not reviewing. Okay, so I was half lying ~g~ Whoops

I actually rather liked the writing in Old Wounds. I thought the writer was obviously a big fan and knew the character of Spike inside out.

However, the art was, for the most part, not good. Loved the panel with 1940s Spike driving his car, though.

The writing wasn't bad at all. It was just that weird, almost steriotypical Spike-voice that threw me out. That spoiled it for me :o(

Oh, some of the flash-back panels were great! I loved the one with Spike feeding and his chin is all splashed with blood.

All in all, though, I much prefered the first One-Shot.

I've just ordered my copy of the first Spike V Dracula. I'm hoping for great things ~crosses fingers~

Fantastic idea! Having read a few Buffy books that had me really mad at the characterisations, good to get someone eles take on it.

I have ordered the complete book of Spike Vs Dracula from Amazon, one problem it doesnt come out until September.

Yes Old Wounds it a bit of a fan girls story. Such a shame after Old Times, it was outstanding.

I really want The Angel Casefiles Vol 3, if it ever comes out! The Casefiles where so well thought out, and so much better than the Watchers Guide.

I can't believe some of these books actually get published. When you consider the sheer number of talented authors out there, how on earth did they pick someone like Nancy Holder? ~shudder~

I shall look forward to the Spike V Dracula. I have no patience so I couldn't wait for the whole graphic novel to come out. It's bad enough that I have to wait for it to be delivered tomorrow!

You know, I have both Watchers guides and the first Casefiles and I've yet to read them. I will, once I've plodded through all the novels that I currently have. Anyway, I'll let you know what I think when I do read them. I hope you'll come see.

Glad I could help! Queen of the Slayers really was awful. I don't know a single person that liked it at all.

Tempted Champions would have made a great ep!!
