Author's Note: I really don’t know what to say about this fic. I don’t write Henry often so this was fun to write, and I tried to do a few of the prompts you gave me into one. You said anything with the three pairings would be fine, so I hope this is okay. Love?
Henry didn’t like men. He was sure that he had told the rest of Super Junior this when he first joined. He hadn’t found that it would be necessary, not until he had seen Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi making out in a corner and beckoning him to join. And yet, as he became a more important part of Super Junior, as the years added up, he found himself saying that more often. Especially after being kissed straight out by Heechul, when he gathered all of the remaining members of Super Junior and SJM to tell them that yes, he didn’t enjoy being kissed by Heechul. After a clarification of what was fan-service and what was sexual harassment, he left the SJM dorm happy. Maybe now he wouldn’t have people thinking he was gay.
And yet Ryeowook still gave him back-hugs during shows, Eunhyuk kept looping his arm around his waist, Kyuhyun kept giving him harsh kisses, Siwon kept chasing him for fan-service, and Zhoumi kept pushing him down onto the ground to kiss him, whispering wonderful delights into his ear. While Donghae would grab him and suck his lips off and give him marks on his neck. He hated it, mainly because what he had said was completely thrown away when SJM started again.
But Sungmin was different. The little aegyo prince didn’t come up to him and ask for a kiss. Just cute pictures, hugs, or a pat on the back or help with a song in English. He was so adorable, so cute, and Henry found himself studying Sungmin’s cyworld for new pictures and reading his blog.
“Do you need help with Chinese?” Henry would ask every so often, just so that he could have the cute little smile back and the nod. Henry loved seeing Sungmin pout, pursing his lips while he tried figuring out what one word meant. He knew he shouldn’t be giving him the answers, but it was worth it when he saw the brilliant smile.
“Thank you, Henli-ah!”
Maybe that was why Henry liked being with Sungmin. Why he asked if they could be paired up together in shows so that he could stand beside him, hug him, receive that beautiful smile. They worked well together-that’s what all the staff said. And they really did. When they cooked together, he loved it when they put food into each other’s mouths. He loved having Sungmin’s fingertips so close to his lips, the small brush of clothes whenever they bumped into each other. The giggle as they made funny faces that would end up on sites that he would check. He looked for a new Super Junior word: HenMin.
“I can’t believe it-we’re finally here!” Sungmin squealed when they touched down at JFK airport.
“We’re in NYC!” Ryeowook squealed, leading Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi out of airport and into a couple of vans that waited. Henry turned, and saw Sungmin smiling at him.
“Come on, we have to go see! I need to see the Empire State Building.” Henry nodded, following Sungmin in a brisk, following Super Junior into the van and closing the door behind them. Yesung and Leeteuk were cheering the whole way, and Henry smiled. It felt almost like home, just eight hours away.
He made a promise to bring Sungmin to Toronto. If he loved New York City as much as he had, he would love Toronto. He would walk him to the CN Tower; bring him up the fastest elevator in the world.
“You’ve been hanging around Sungmin a lot now, lately,” Amber commented as they ate typical New York street food: hot dogs. Henry looked up from his mustard to see Amber smirking, licking the ketchup from her fingers as her dog leaked. “You guys look cute, really cute. HenMin, right? Doesn’t that mean that you top?” Henry raised an eyebrow, opening his mouth a little. Amber laughed, brushing her blonde hair from her eyes. “Just joking, dude! Sheesh, if you like him that much…”
“Didn’t know that you read fan fiction,” Henry said, playing with the bun.
Amber smirked. “Didn’t know that you did, either. But at least I know what kind you read.”
Henry didn’t like men. He had told the rest of Super Junior (and Amber) that he wasn’t gay, and there wasn’t a way that he was going to turn gay. He loved his members equally and wouldn’t be able to love just one in particular. He had a love for each and every one of the fourteen that hung around him. He held his brothers closer to him than any other people. But even in a family, there was always one that you liked more than all of your other brothers. One that didn’t bug you as much, one that you would help without even thinking. That brother must have been Sungmin. His brother that dressed up one late-fall evening as a lady that Henry only remembered slightly.

Henry’s eyes bulged as he watched Sungmin get ready. He knew that Super Junior cross dressed, it was something that happened often in Super Shows. He remembers them doing ‘Chu~’ and ‘Gee’ in SS2 and Heechul dressing up as Lady Gaga with the three Beyoncés for SS3. So he shouldn’t have been that amazed when he heard that during one of the performances, one of the members would be dressing up as a girl and doing a girl group performance. It happened all of the time-and the ELFS seemed to like it. So when Henry was adjusting his violin and he looked up to see Sungmin, his mouth opened a little.
He-or she, was in a summery, white dress that frilled near the bottom. Sungmin had a nice wig on, with bouncy curls, and the platinum blonde hair. His lips were cherry-coloured and kissable, and Sungmin was currently slipping on some heels, biting down on his lip as he tried to fit it on. Henry tried looking down or away, but it was hard when everyone else had spotted the new SS4 craze-Marilyn Minroe. He bit down on his tongue by accident, holding his jaw to ease away the pain. “Shit,” he swore, and swore again when Sungmin heard him.
“You okay, Henry-ah?” Sungmin asked in speedy Korean that took Henry a few minutes to decipher. Sungmin placed on hand on his thigh, and with the other, took Henry’s hand away from his face. Henry could feel the sweat on his brow when Sungmin leaned in. And the sudden feel of his ill-fitting skinny jeans.
“Y-yeah,” Henry managed, trying to look anywhere but keep into those dark caramel eyes that were inches away from his face. Those light red, kissable lips that moved to ask him more questions. He could smell him, too, the sweet Sungmin smell.
“I’m really okay, Shengmin-gege,” he replied, trying to talk with his swollen tongue. Sungmin pouted, but moved away, nodding.
“Okay… I have to go now, but I’ll be back. You drink something-you feel hot.” Henry nodded, watching Sungmin’s hips move as he walked away, headed for a platform that would bring him up to the stage where fans would be cheering for him. He didn’t have his performance yet, so he lifted from his chair and watched the performance. He smirked at the other members, how they tried to lift up Sungmin’s dress. He wondered if Leeteuk would have to do another round of fan-service vs. sexual harassment.
Henry didn’t like men. He had told his group mates that, and dealt with the comments that disagreed. He dealt with the few instances of fan-service and the growing popularity of random pairings with him in them.
Henry didn’t like men-that’s what he always told himself. But Sungmin was certainly too pretty to be a man.
After the SS4’s first performance, Henry grabbed Sungmin and found a secret crack. He pushed his lips against Sungmin’s, fisting his hair and smiling at Sungmin’s wondrous scent. Slowly he started kissing back, and Henry’s heart enflamed. When they pulled away for air, Sungmin smirked. “I thought you didn’t like men.”
“Shut up and kiss me.” And Sungmin smiled and obliged.
