Chapter 2: Why do birds suddenly appear?
“Remember when we walked in on Changmin and Kibum having sex?” Jaejoong chuckled.
“Ah, Like it was yesterday,” Yoochun chuckled. “Still have the picture.”
“I hate you guys, I really do,” Changmin sighed.
“What were you thinking, Changmin?”Yunho asked. “You knew anyone could walk in any second.”
“I heard that's half the fun,”Junsu said.
“You heard, or you experienced?” Jaejoong smirked.
“Both,” Junsu said sticking out his tongue.
It was late, around midnight maybe, and they were sitting on the cool sand of the beach, joint going around the circle.
“At least Junsu is getting some action,” Changmin said. “When was the last time you had any action?”
“That's all his fault,” Jaejoong frowned and hit Yunho on the arm. “This...model-guy over here...”
“Shut up,” Yunho sighed.
“It's not even funny anymore,” Jaejoong said. “I think my virginity is growing back. My flower...it's growing back...”
“Your flower died long ago, Jaejoong,” Yoochun chuckled. “And it's buried under a large pile of used condoms.”
Changmin and Junsu fell over each other laughing and Jaejoong clawed at Yoochun, but Yunho held him in place.
“Speaking about skanks-who-love-Yunho,”Yoochun continued. “Why didn't Heechul come?”
“He had stuff to do at home,” Yunho shrugged. “And he's not in love with me, asshole.”
“He's in love with your asshole?” Junsu asked confused.
“Go back to sleep,” Yoochun chuckled and Changmin burst out laughing again.
“You're no fun. Here get stoned...er. Or is it more stoned?” Junsu wondered out loud and handed Yoochun the joint. Yoochun took a draw and handed it to Yunho.
“Who's hungry?” Changmin asked.
“You are,” Jaejoong answered.
“Ding ding ding!” Changmin laughed. “Where are we going to find food?”
“...In the house,” Jaejoong answered again.
“O my god, he's amazing,” Changmin gasped and Jaejoong rolled his eyes.
“Do you guys think I should grow moustache?” Yoochun asked.
“Yes,” Junsu said. “Absolutely.”
“Yes,” Yunho nodded. “Please grow a moustache.”
Changmin kept doubling over and Junsu joined him most of the time. Yoochun kept making random statements, suggestions and comments. Jaejoong kept muttering things about evil-skanks-who-love-Yunho. Yunho kept poking Jaejoong in the cheek.
Everything came to a halt when Jaejoong turned to face Yunho and crashed their lips together, pushing him onto his back.
“Ew.”
“Ew.”
“Ew.”
In the 9 months Jaejoong and Yunho had been together this was the very first time the other three saw them kiss.
“I think we're not wanted here anymore,” Yoochun frowned. “Could you give me that...” He leaned over them and snatched the joint out of Yunho's hand which was haunting over Jaejoong's ass.
When he turned around Changmin was already walking towards the house and Junsu was peeing into the ocean.
Jaejoong woke up because of the cold water flushing over his feet.
“What the...” he cracked his eyes open slowly and got greeted by way to much sunlight. That when he saw it. The bird. The bird was getting bigger. Was it coming-
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
“Did you hear that?” Junsu muttered into his pillow.
“Shut up, I didn't hear anything,” Yoochun mumbled.
“What did you hear?” Changmin, who was lying in between the other two murmured.
“I thought I heard Jaejoong...” Junsu said, his eyes still closed.
“I thought I told you to shut up. It's to early...”
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
“This time it sounded closer.” Junsu sat up and looked around the room. They had fallen asleep in their clothes, on top of the sheets and Junsu felt sticky because it had been warm the whole night and three people in one bed was a lot people in one bed.
“I heard it,” Changmin sighed at sat up to. “Yunho will take care of it.”
“This is not the time for waking up,” Junsu said. “It's six-thirty.”
“To early,” Yoochun mumbled.
“Sssh,” Junsu hushed him and perked his ears. “I hear a car. Is that Yunho's car?”
This time Yoochun cracked open one eye to look at them. “Is it?”
Junsu got up and ran into the living room to look out of the window. Where had stood two cars the night before stood one now.
“They left...”
Changmin and Yoochun were just in time to hear it.
“So the bird flew into your eye?”
“Yes.”
“What kind of bird was it?”
“Why does that even matter? Are you going to arrest the damn bird?” Jaejoong snapped at the doctor.
“I was just wondering what kind of bird would attack with no reason,” the doctor shrugged and attended to Jaejoong's big black eye.
“It was a white one,” Jaejoong muttered.
“A seagull,” Yunho said.
“Whatever,” Jaejoong said shaking his head.
“Stay still now,” the doctor said and grabbed Jaejoong's chin to keep him from moving.
Yunho started massaging Jaejoong's shoulders making him relax a bit.
“God damn bird,” he muttered under his breath. “Why me? You were sleeping right next to me, but the damn bird just has to attack me...”
“That very sweet of you,” Yunho rolled his eyes.
“Hello? Yunho? Birdie?”
They could hear Changmin's voice singing and Junsu and Yoochun's laughter echoing through the hallway just outside of the room.
“Are those your friends?” The doctor asked, looking up at Yunho.
“How'd you guess?” Yunho rolled his eyes.
The three barged into the room, catching eye of Jaejoong and burst out laughing.
“Shut up!” Jaejoong screeched. “It hurts , okay?”
“We're sorry,” Junsu said, not much sincerity in in his voice or face. “We care. We even prepared a song for you. Right, you guys?”
“Oh, right,” Yoochun nodded. “I'll count to three okay? One two three...”
Jaejoong and Yunho held their breathes.
“Why do birds suddenly appear, everytime you are near?”
“Okay, enough,” Yunho said but couldn't help but laugh. Even the doctor laughed. Yunho knew Jaejoong found it funny, but tried his best to hide it.
“I hate you guys,” he sighed.
“I'm done here,” the doctor announced. “Here's an icepack. Refresh it when needed and you'll be fine. You're lucky that bird didn't poke your eye out.”
“Yeah, I'm so lucky,” Jaejoong scoffed. “Can we go now?”
“What? It's over? We came down here at seven in the morning so we can go back?” Yoochun asked.
“Did you ask them to come?” Jaejoong asked turning to Yunho.
“Nope. I just texted them saying you got hit in the eye by a bird and that we went to the hospital,” Yunho shrugged. “Now let's get some breakfast.”
“Hey, isn't that the angry lesbian?”
Jaejoong's head snapped up, thinking Yoochun was talking about Shirley.
“I think your right. Tiffany!” Junsu yelled and waved at her. She was standing behind the counter in the bakery, about five feet away from Junsu.
Jaejoong pouted. He was missing Shirley already.
“Could you not call me angry lesbian?” she sighed. “People aren't as open minded here as they are at home. What brings all of you- o my god, Jaejoong, what happened to your eye?”
“Got hit by a bird, long story,” he answered waving his hand.
“Actually, that is the whole story,” Changmin chuckled. “Five of everything, please.”
“Five of everything?” she asked cocking up an eyebrow.
“Ignore him,” Yunho sighed.
They ordered their food and coffee. said Tiffany, who had apparently been working at the bakery the whole summer goodbye and sat down on the edge of a fountain on the middle of the small town squire to have their breakfast.
“Hey,” Yoochun said softly and elbowed Junsu in the ribs. “How about we have diner there tonight?” He pointed at a small restaurant across from where they were sitting. The restaurant was closed of course, but you could see it was small and...intimate.
Junsu grinned. “Just you and me?”
“Just you and me.”
“It's a date.”
