I want a complete How I Met Your Mother and Suits clash. It makes perfect sense since they're both based in New York and Marshall is a lawyer. can be crackfill but if you want to add plot maybe barney being mike's older brother.

Harvey is a gentleman (rank up to you). Mike is a young street rat. Some part of their initial meeting goes like it did in the show, and Mike impresses Harvey enough for Harvey to want to change his life.

Mike becomes Harvey's apprentice, and also his ward. Which makes the inevitable sexual tension awkward and a little unfortunate. But then it is resolved. With sex.

Notes
1. This is very, very loosely based on the set-up to Mairelon the Magician. Use as much (or none) of that as you want.
2. As for the apprenticeship, I don't really care what they're doing. Harvey could dabble (quite successfully, of course) in politics. Or if you want to go the magic AU route like in Mairelon, that is also awesome! It's just that actual lawyering doesn't work for this time period, because it is (*haughty sniff*) trade.

Oh! Mairleon is one of my favorite books ever, and it never even occurred to me that this would be an excellent combination! I have this serious urge to write this. But be warned, I'm really slow, so this could be awhile.

I'd like a fic that has Jessica and Mike begining a friendship pf sorts. my thought is she wants to know what the big deal, like Joy pointed out it's a pretty amazing Harvey even mentioned that he exsisted. Jess was sort of expecting Harvey to ignore whoever he hired, and hile she is glad he seems to be taking this seriously it goes agianst everything else she knows about him, so at some point of the auther's choosing she decides to start paying more attention to Mike and Harvey around Mike ( ... )

So it's practically canon now that Harvey believes in a good paddled bottom. What if the tongue-in-cheek conversation/comment he made to Jessica about paddling Louis' bottom was actually serious and really about Mike? And Harvey really wants her to do it for reason of writer's choosing. But Jessica is all, he's your puppy, you handle him, just leave me out of it. Harvey contemplates this and warns puppy, er, Mike and is tempted before he is finally pushed to his limits and takes it upon himself. Jessica is proud. Harvey is smug. Mike is... up to you!

Harvey is a former model turned internationally-acclaimed designer or photographer. Jessica is the head of the company he works with. Donna is...Donna. (Really, her job title doesn't matter, she'd find a way to own.)

Mike is the regular guy who stumbles into the audition/interview they're having in order to find a new model and is "discovered".

Maybe Harvey hates having to work with the professional, stuck-up anemic people. Maybe the new line of clothing he needs to be promoting (again, I don't care if he's the one designing it or if someone else did and he's just photographing it) needs a level of casual/oblivious/seriously-you're-paying-how-much-to-just-stand-here attitude to pull it off. Whatever author!anon wants.

I tend more towards gen, but once the prompt is written whatever bunnies are created are out of my hands. :) And I certainly hope this sparks something for someone out there, because I really want to read it.

The idea of Harvey as an internally acclaimed fashion designer (and probs bffs with René) just sounds fucking hilarious and awesome all around, especially with Mike as "the newly discovered model".
