Meme problems anonymous July 8 2011, 08:46:06 UTC
Is anyone else having problems with the meme or is it just me?
I have been having computer problems recently and I'm not sure if I'm the only one or not but sometimes I get everything posted in a thread, sometimes I get half, and sometimes I only get the first comment. Is this just my computer being stupid?

hi~
Is anyone interested in Suits Wallpapers? :3
I'm thinking about making some and if anyone has any request I would love to fill them! -u-
Also, I'm making some icons from episode 2&3 if anyone is interested in suggesting/requesting on what I should make. ^^;
(I can go back to episode one also~)

:O

I AM! If they're anything like your icons, I bet they'll be gorgeous. Not sure as to specific requests. Maybe just Harvey and Mike with many of their more provocative lines - "you smiled when I came in today," "admit it, you care about me," "I thought this was OUR time," and so on - splashed across it.

As for icons, you should DEFINITELY do something with the fist-bump, at least! That scene was so adorable! And maybe with Mike, when he had his hair fixed to look like Harvey's! ♥

Sorry, I'm rambling too much, lol.

awh, thank youu~
this is why I wish I was still at home. :c I'm super sorry but I can't work on anything until I get home in two weeks. I'm currently on vacation with the family and I'm only able to update from my mom's laptop. >_< But when I get back I will definitely start working on those wallpapers! (and icons, although I'll be about three episodes behind)

Once again thank you so much & I'm really sorry!

That's okay; take your time! I just wanted to be helpful. Not having a place to put your creativity, especially when a new fandom is devouring your soul, can be hard. We have to stick together! XDD

Have fun on your vacation!

hey, so does anyone have any guesstimations for characters ages? i looked at the usa website but it was entirely unhelpful.

Harvey wrote the paperwork for the car company "a dozen years ago" when he was two years younger than Mike's current age. So, that makes him ten years older than Mike, right?
Say he's thirty right now. A dozen years ago, he would have been eighteen. Which is two years younger than Mike, making Mike twenty. And he couldn't have been eighteen, because that's ridiculous. But, yeah, they're ten years apart.

Oh God, this is why I'm an English major.

ooh, excellent deduction skills! hmm, but that makes me think: mike is supposed to be of a plausible age to be a harvard school grad, right? and getting a law degree typically takes 7 years of college, so that'd make him more like 24, 25... and then harvey would be 35ish, a nice well-ripened age, lol.

35 and 25 sound about right. :] Really, anywhere between 35-39 for Harvey and 25-29 for Mike. (Even though Mike looks like a little baby honey child in need of a good cuddle and possibly some homemade food.)

cries ok i'm back for more. :| i need ideas for books mike might have read in recent history. (i even screencapped his bookshelves, i know, that's how cool i am. but alas all was blurry). he mentioned Freakonomics but nothing else, at least as far as i remember.

thoughts? is he a fiction guy, genre fiction guy, non fiction guy, or just an everything guy?

I see him being an everything guy.
As for what books he might have read...Probably since joining the firm he'd be mostly reading things pertaining to the law? Or maybe a lot of reference books so he can join in conversations with clients and co-workers and prove his worth by being knowledgeable on a bunk of topics. I know that isn't fun stuff but if I was Mike it's what I would be doing.
Well no. That’s not true. I would be getting every book you would have read as a Harvard Law student and tearing though them as fast as a I could but it doesn't look like Mike's done that considering all the problems he has been having in the office.

Twilight.
I agree with the everything comment. He probably reads fiction, nonfiction, cook books. If you're asking for fanfic purposes, I say pick whatever books you want. As long as you can make it make sense, people will go with it. :]

I can actually see him with a bunch of business-y nonfiction books. Anything by Malcom Gladwell, etc.

Who would you vote best dressed? anonymous July 9 2011, 21:12:24 UTC
Whose wardrobe do you like best on suits?

While I love three piece suits (waistcoats make me weak in the knees) and the slicked back hair I have to admit that I like Mike’s skinny ties and his lovely casual wear better. But that all was kind of pointless since Jessica wins for me.

Harvey's wardrobe makes me swoon. I totally agree with the waist coat comment, they make me weak in the knees too. While I love skinny ties, and I think Mike would look awkward in wider ties (like a child trying to dress like their dad). Although it could also be because of who is wearing the clothes and Gabriel Macht/Harvey is just to charming to resist...

I think it's a combination of all. Mike's more casual, yes, but hot damn Harvey can dress. I love Donna's dresses, and I think if I worked in an office, I'd probably wear Rachel's wardrobe. And of course Jessica's clothes are HBIC.
But it's between Harvey and Rachel for me.
