Mike wasn't exactly expecting everyone to want to come over to his place for a holiday dinner, he knew most people probably already had plans, as it was short notice to begin with, and he also understood that some people just didn't like him enough to want to spend time with him while at work, let alone when they were outside of work ( ... )

Harvey/Mike or Gen Home for Christmas anonymous November 21 2011, 21:34:07 UTC
Christmas is Mike's favorite holiday (easy guess, considering the caring he oozes out the ears) and Mike's very big on spending it with family.

Something happens that absolutely requires Harvey to bring Mike with him to soothe over a client on Christmas Eve. They go to meet the client in his backwoods winter home. A snowstorm (read: epic blizzard) traps them either in the winter home or en route.

Cue Mike getting frustrated and trying to find a way to get home, Harvey being baffled ("You'd rather risk your life in this shitstorm than wait it out like a grownup?") and Mike explaining through stories of his family how Christmas has always been important to him and how his Gram is waiting for him and he just can't leave her to spend Christmas alone.

And Harvey (who so totally does too care) fixes it somehow?

So Harvey's had this client for years that, for whatever reason, has never been as impressed by him as most of his clients are. And Harvey's tried pretty nearly everything to impress the man/woman, but to no avail.

Now this client is in the PH offices one day (need something legal-y, obviously), and they meet Mike for the first time and are, naturally, instantly charmed by the kid. The client is just (platonically) in love with him. And Mike is smiley and sweet and appreciative, and talks about how Harvey's the best guy to work for, etc etc etc ( ... )

Established Harvey/Mike - Blending Holiday Traditions huffydoo November 23 2011, 01:26:02 UTC
Harvey is religious, not necessarily the go to church every Sunday type, but he has a deep personal faith and really celebrates Christmas and Easter. Mike is Jewish. Harvey finds out after tailing where he disappears every Friday pre-sundown. He is observant and Harvey celebrates Sabbath with him. They have a daughter now. She is three and is finally understanding things and seeing holiday specials on TV. How do they blend Christmas and Hanukkah. How does Mike expose her to his holiday when so many messages are all about Santa, Reindeer, Frosty, and Christmas trees.

Bonus: Harvey hanging mistletoe, but every attempt he's having to get Mike under it is constantly interrupted.

Bonus: Mike trying to make a gingerbread house for their daughter and just having a miserable time. He's no architect. He's hurt and Harvey's confused when Harvey 86s Mikes monstrosity while hes sleeping and buys one made by a top of the line designer.

Bonus: Harvey taking Mike and their daughter to their first lighting of the Christmas tree in NY.

Harvey/Mike Mistletoe Mischief huffydoo November 23 2011, 01:33:46 UTC
5 times one of them catches the other unsuspecting under mistletoe and one time Donna arranges it for her favorite couple to share their first kiss - also in front of her desk. C'mon she's the flawless bitch and she can so surprise them. Just a little holiday fluff and an excuse for 6 Marvey kisses. If writer decides to take it further, lol, born is certainly welcome. :)

I started writing this, got to number 4, and lost them all. Oh. My. God. I'll get something up now, if I can remember what it was, I might do it in stages, so that I know I'm keeping each point.

The first time it happens, it's really no ones fault, and Harvey can't help but be very amused.

Mike is stood in front of him, excitedly discussing how he found the loophole they were after, handing single sheet after single sheet to Harvey.

Harvey's only half paying attention, part of him counting down the seconds before Mike realises what all the other associates have already noticed.

Mike hears the snickers before he stops talking, frowns, watches Harvey's expression for a second before glancing up above them and coughing, cheeks tinting a pink shade slowly. He holds up the remainder of the file and places it in Harvey's hand and murmurs about work for Louis before turning on his heel.

Harvey catches his wrist, sweeps down and kisses his cheek as Rachel comes passed saying "You have to kiss".

All the associates shut up, and the silence for the few seconds is nice. Harvey walks away before he can hear what they have to say on the matter.

The second time it happens is less than pleasant for one reason and one reason only. It's in Louis' office, infront of Louis.

Why Louis has mistletoe in his office, Harvey nor Mike, nor Jessica ever want to know, who, what, when, where it why is off the cards in this case, you just don't talk about it.

Jessica is giving Harvey yet another lecture on the "Be nice to Louis, work together" campaign, when Mike taps on the door and leans in, holding out a file for Harvey.

"I'm sorry, Harvey, you might want to look at this."

Louis snorts, and it's not until Harvey trains his focus away from Mike that he realises that they've yet again ended up beneath the mistletoe.

It's Mike that initiates this one, leaning up quickly to brush his lips against Harvey's cheek sweetly. He then leaves quickly, and avoids Harvey for an hour before coming to find him again.

Harvey pretends he doesn't feel Mike's lips on his cheek all day.
