Hi again.:) I've been hankering to make LOTR icons for forever now ~ just some simple but lovely ones ~ and I finally got around to making some.:D Hehe, there are quite a few... And I must say that I was inspired to do simple but lovely icons mostly by finger_painter and theoldvicarage. Just remember these aren't bases, because I actually did lots to them.:)

The "Flotsam and Jetsam" scene is just brilliant (because I love Merry & Pip before they 'grew up' in RotK). The expressions on their faces? Fantastic. ;)

And then Merry, in #57, just looks so huggable. Seriously, the urge to grab the icon and squeeze it to death is currently very strong. Likely, I realize that it's impossible to hug an icon before I make a fool of myself attempting it. :p

Oh yes, brilliant is the word! Merry and Pip are so cute ~ it'd be nice to have one in each pocket every now and then. *grins* I like it when they find the Longbottom Leaf or whichever pipeweed it was, and Pippin suggests sharing it with Treebeard, and Merry says, "No, no!" in the silliest, most urgent way. Hee, and I love Pippin's, "Don't be hasty." ^_^

BAHAHA! Oh gosh, hee, the Urge to Squeeze to Death that cannot be refused! Heehee, I actually had the urge to squish the screencap of Merry that I made #54 out of... Ahh, and hugging the monitor just wouldn't do either... But I agree that Merry looks quite huggable in #57 too.X)

Sigh, squishable smiles on squishable fellows will make fools of us all.
