Rifle through the ear- and eye protection options. Read the gun manual. Practice checking the barrel and not doing anything stupid with the gun. Atton's watching you.

The ear and eye protection options weren't very... well... stylish, but Alluka kept her mouth shut on that, preferring instead to read the manual.

There was so much he'd said that she'd never really thought about but maybe reading would help.
