Aftereffects

*Lazlo is sitting at the base of the stairs in the manor, having fled there in the middle of the night after a single but dreadful nightmare. He's been sitting awake since, not sure who or what he's looking for, but somehow feeling better being in a place where there are more people*

*he isn't hiding, it's a pretty obvious spot to be sitting*

Lazlo?

What are you doing sitting here Captain?

No, it's probably just a coincidence even if it did happen! Never mind, Lazlo!

[Damn, he has to know.]

Have you been having nightmares?

Been having...? No. No, just one, last night. But I used to have them often, because of the Rune, so...it's not unusual...

[Lo Hak hadn't known the last bit and sort of fumbles.]

Oh, oh then never mind then. I've been having a few, but it's not like it's weird for two people to have nightmares at the same time.

Oh, I'm sorry. That's rough, Lo Hak. Is everything all right?

Yeah, I'm fine! Don't worry about me Captain.

Are you all right? I mean, you were just sitting there looking all depressed and stuff. Must have been a rough nightmare...

Oh...I just didn't sleep, is all. So, if your massage can put me to sleep, I would be grateful - just don't let me drown in the bath.

It's a compliment when I massage people to sleep. Letting them drown is bad for business. No worries, Captain ~.

I do trust you, Lo Hak. *claps a hand to his shoulder*

[He pauses and then smiles, the words making him feel warm inside.]

Good to hear. So! Do you want a full body or just an upper body massage?

*flushes slightly* Uh, what does 'full body' mean, exactly?

lo_rider_4 February 14 2009, 08:05:28 UTC
Oh, it means I work on your neck, shoulders, back, and legs. I avoid sensitive spots.

[Winks.]

*sigh of relief* Oh, okay. Well, I don't know if my legs are...um, bad, or not. So maybe just the rest.

So an upper body ~ All righty then.

Do you have a certain smell that relaxes you, Lazlo?
