It has been a long time since Tir McDohl arrived in the Dunan Region, and he had not set foot in the Higheast providence since it's absorption into the Republic. He sighed as he walked through the square, taking in the night air and helping himself out with a bit of his provisions. He earned it. Still, the air was chilly, he would need to find a place to stay for the night, as he wrapped his traveling cloak around to keep him warm, as well as conceal his identity. It may have been 20 years, but Tir knows that there are still people who's memories are long enough to remember. And it doesn't help his outfit's on display at Gregminster.

Unlike the former male, Sarah did not come on her own, she did not make it and it was believed she had died so long ago. Her body was sore, fixated on the pain and exhaustion she had gone through to try to make Luc's dream a reality and damn anyone who tried to take it from them. However, this was different, she felt her body soaked with water and she was on a hard, cobbled surface, this was the ruins.

Having been laying there on her side, she opened her eyes and gazed around in the lighted darkness of the town.

What?

Sarah shifted to her hands so she was sitting up,".........Where is this?" She moved her legs underneath her to sit a little more properly.

Some memories are longer than others, and come attached to sharp noses. Catch a familiar scent, and a glimpse of a familiar face to go with it, and follow it for a day - or a fortnight - and what is the harm? Sierra had lived for a long time, and was used to spending her time in such thriftless fashions as stalking old acquaintances along the roads.

But Tir had brought her to another nostalgic place, hadn't he? L'Renouille - Higheast now - was, after all, where her time with the Army of Dunan had come to a close, and thus where she'd made her decision as to how to live from then on. Though it looked very different now from during the war or even the first few years after.

She'd hopped up on edge of the fountain to admire the reflection of the moon in the water, quarry temporarily forgotten, when she first noticed the soaked girl sitting at the edge as more than just another anonymous figure on the streets. Sierra did not pretend (okay, no, she'd pretend) to be an expert on the practices of humans, but she was pretty sure they could ( ... )

How long had Luc been laying there...? It surely wasn't longer than maybe ten minutes, with the violent shaking of the collapsing ruins getting worse by the second. Luc's eyes had been closed as he laid his head in Sarah's lap, feeling her fingers run through his hair, trying to console him. His imminent death had given him time to reflect in those ruins. After all the work he did - the tens of thousands of people who died because of him, the wars caused and ended for his goal, the Faustian bargain with Yuber, causing Sarah to violate her own morals - had been entirely for nothing. He could still feel the True Wind Rune ensconced in his soul. He could still see the fate of the world as clear as day in his mind, the memories of the True Wind Rune of what the world was to become under Hikusaak. He could still ( ... )

Tir couldn't help but laugh. Three people popping out of the water fountain just like that. And one of them was Luc. Obviously one of his pranks gone awry. It seemed Sierra was there too, her tongue as sharp as ever. Memories came flooding back of his time at the Dunan Army.

But he wasn't much of a bystander, as he walked towards the small group, keeping his face covered by his cloak. He offered his hand out to help them out of the fountain. "Don't want to stay there, you'll catch a cold."

A man appeared mysteriously like the others, at first shielding his eyes and head as if waiting for something to collapse. When he felt nothing he moved his arms down and opened his eyes, which gave off an aqua blue glow that could be seen well in the darkness.

He looked around, this was not what he was expecting. Where was El-Eal? The collapsing building and imminent explosion? He shook his head. Maybe he was already dead.... at least it was painless.

But then again.... do the dead retain memories? Those were certainly still there, clear as day... The man sighed. This was confusing.... and cold... no he couldn't be dead, after all how could be he cold without a physical form?

Great. So what now...?

Luc had since regained his composure, despite his lungs being a bit sore. He turned to see another man appear; one who had not been there a few seconds earlier. At first he thought it was Yuber, as he was the only one Luc knew of who could just... appear in a second. But then again, he himself had just done that not too long ago. The True Wind bearer looked at Graham for a second, but turned back to the others. This was getting more and more strange and unexplainable by the second.

Cray simply stared blankly at the shorter man, before finally snapping to some form of sense and speaking up, at the risk of sounding stupid. "Uh... 'Scuse me, but where the hell am I?"

"Higheast City. Let's get you out of the water here." Tir interjected, offering his hand to both men to get them out of the fountain.

Ugh.

She must have looked silly, tripped into pools of water in front of Obel Palace. The water is cold, but it's nothing compared to her embarrassment. She sits up and remain motionless for a second.

She then opens her eyes and look up. "Jeremy, you--- Huh?"

Where is she? And it's night already -- did she fall unconscious without her realizing it?

Snowe stood there in the group until he noticed that someone he knew, sort of had been in the general vicinity. Detracting from the group, he walked right up to her,".....Y-you're Millay, right? Right?" Snowe wanted to be sure, at least before he got excited.

Millay stands up as the familiar voice calls her name. She recognizes Snowe, of course, but seeing him only adds to confusion. "...Yes, I am. You are Sir Snowe... right?"

Snowe was over-joyed to see someone he knew, he even tried to smile at her so she'd definitely know it was him. It was even a stretch for her to call him sir, but it made him feel good to feel that someone still respected him enough to call him that,"Yes! Let me help you." Snowe moved over, just slightly drier than she was and put both of his hands out to help her.

"COLD COLD COLD COLD COLD COLD FREEEEEEEEEZINGGGGGGGG."

Emily stands up from the pool with teeth chattering. She wraps her arms around herself and shivers in her shoes, cursing to herself.

She didn't see this coming at all. What, with the whole creepy glowing wall in the dojo and tripping and falling into WHO knows where...and that she didn't have another set of clothes on her at the moment.

She looks around, hoping to find someone and tell her where she is and how to get back to Budehuc Castle. Because she's pretty sure she is NOT in the Grasslands. If Juan was here, he'd say something about Emily still being a tomboyish brat, and earn a punch to his smug bastard face.

"HEY ANYONE WANNA HELP A LADY?!"
