After having rested and recovered some, as well as patching up his wounds from the fight in El-Eal, Cray had taken to the streets. He wandered, getting used to his new surroundings and pondering just why he was still alive, and in the future no less. Of course there was no logical answer to be found ( Read more... )

Tir was passing by at that point, fresh from having received his new deed for the dojo. He turned to notice Cray sitting on a wall. Tir could understand part of his turmoil; albeit going back in time rather than forward.

"You doing alright, there?" He called out to him.

He looked in the direction of the voice. "Oh...yeah I'm alright. Just not really sure what to do with myself now..."

Tir nodded as he walked towards Cray. "I know the feeling. I've been trying to figure out what to do for years." He stopped just before Cray. "Looks like you don't have a cold right now. That's good."

"I guess I was forced in a direction before. It's nice to have some free will again..." He shrugged at the cold comment. "I spent the last five years...well beofre I was teleported... in the coldest, wettest, windiest most miserable place imaginable. No cold's going to get me that easy."

Millay was wandering around the city, trying to know about this place and era -- and hopefully someone else she knew. She would eventually find someone but the -very- unexpected one.

She saw Cray from afar. It had been two years in her perspective since the end of Liberation War, so it took time before she recognize him... When she did, she increased her walking pace.

"You..."

Hearing the woman's voice he looked towards her. She might recognise him but he didn't recognise her, even if she was in the group that directly attacked El-Eal the whole thing was fuzzy in his mind now.

"Uh...can I help you?"

The response was unexpected. She didn't expect him to know her, but he seemed less villainous than she remembered... He didn't even look that bad. Was he a different person?

"...are you Graham Cray?"

In a sense he was a different person. The Rune had done something to him back then and with it gone he was more like his old self again.

Crap, he knew where that question was going, but there was no use denying it. She'd find out anyway...

"Y-yeah.."
