the UK Office is much darker, driven more by the cruelty and awkwardness of people than by situation and emotion. it's worth a watch if you'ven't.

i hear the word `unfilmable'' bandied about a bit; bollocks, i say. i want film adaptations of Paradise Lost and Hard-boiled Wonderland… stat.

It would be mostly an existential drama that went on too long, but I would watch H-BW&TEOTW a few times. Especially if it was Japanese and subtitled.

Still have not read Paradise Lost. ..I think. Most likely not.
