ok first of all can we talk about how much I love this fic conceptually! I just really love the fact that this exists! my two favorite prompts combined (and let me tell you, I dreamed prompt 2, i.e., Baekhyun turning translucent, back in october and it's been haunting me since then and I can't believe I'm actually finally reading it!!) !

not to mention you managed to include all of the pairings I requested?? including one literally no one else, not even my one friend, likes, so <3

And then the one on Joonmyun's palm, the freshest, deepest cut, is from when he'd decided that if there was one person he'd give up his life for, it was Baekhyun. It can't be anyone else. ok ok so Joonmyun isn't a god but he's basically Jesus ok then T___T;;

the hiccuping shoulders and the hobbling stomach and and their dynamic is both so physical and metaphysical at the same time. they don't need to actually touch to feel each other's heat and even the tiniest facial movements have so much meaning packed into them. the style is incredible, it feels like everything has slowed down in the cloudy humidity and this electric current running through everything is lighting it up in freeze frames so I can view each intimate detail in perfect clarity:

-Not that I'm saying you have to lay down all your cards right now since we've just met, but you've got to have a little faith in yourself," Yixing continues, then, voice lilting as it drops to a whisper. Another nudge of the arm and this time Joonmyun thaws out, chokes on his own spit, and takes a deep, violent breath. “You’re not as… boring as you think you are. this is so sulay <3 I can't EVEn.

This story, like a good story, is not the fluffy, flimsy processed cheese of soap operas. When couched in words, emotions, a past and a process, the cheese becomes aged, flavourful, cutting across taste buds: "wake up, wake up," it's saying, "you're alive, or did you forget?"

i read this 75k monster in one sitting and i am IMPRESSED! impressed that someone wrote 75k of sulay (my otp that doesn't get a lot of love) <33333

i probably need to read this again to get all the details i missed but i just have a question with the ending - by that point are they able to be with each other long enough without disappearing? or can they only stay together for a certain amount of time? or is it open to interpretation? (i'd like to think everything went well and they lived happily ever after, haha)

thank you so much! ren's prompts were really wonderful and the fic just sorta... exploded. yeah.

well they're still working towards that goal - that is, completely ridding themselves of the virus - but there's always the risk of triggering the condition again because of contaminants outside the mansion that they may not be aware of. the experiment sort of helps them ease into this state of being together, but also tests the limits of the drugs they're taking. does that even make sense? haha!

buuut yeah, you can say they lived happily ever after. what's being physically whole but being emotionally broken? c:
