Short, concise description of the idea
Remove pop-up ads from incorrect login pages.

Full description of the ideaFor those of us who pay for our accounts it is frustrating to be exposed to ads when we mistakenly enter login information. Please remove them so that we may re-enter our information correctly without hindrance. ( Read more... )

+1 - I rarely have to log in (as I normally use a handful of personal, secure computers) but I still hate it when I screw up my login and get a big 'ol ad. Especially when I'm using a mobile device.

This just happened to me when I tried to log in and typoed my password. "Be returned to your LiveJournal [Login] Experience when this ad is over" my BUTT. Hell, it's one thing to get a regular banner or text ad, but an interstitial is just plain rude.

Will be taking the https:// suggestion to heart, but really.

I already have one friend, who has been a paid member for a very long time, who is leaving - and stated this as one of the reasons he is leaving.

AGREED! I have a permanent account that I paid $150 for (after years of paid account purchase), and this is of great annoyance to me.
