I say icon and dropdown, so you see the picture and can pick your keywords. The floaty thing, I can take or leave, and in this case I think leave is better. (I think the floaty thing is solely a paid user benefit.)

That's the "userpic browser," yes? If so, then yeah, I agree. I never use the thing and woulf be just as happy if I never saw it.

Really, the Preview form and the original post form should be identical. It's silly that they aren't!

Absolutely a huge YES on this one! I don't know why nobody has suggested this before!!!

And it drives me nuts. If you don't change your default userpic BEFORE you preview, you're stuck with it -- unless you cancel and comment over again...

Yes, this has caught me a fair few times (though in those situations what I do is press "back" in the browser and change the options, plus re-edit in my corrections if there were any).
