Editing entries

Short, concise description of the idea
To be able to select a range of dates when editing entries

Full description of the ideaTo be able to select, say, "all entries between 1/1/2008 and 6/1/2008", rather like Quicken allows you to select a date range of entries to see. I have no coding skills, so I cannot begin to say how to do ( Read more... )

The main drawback I can think of would be database overhead, but other than that, I really like this suggestion. Sometimes, I know I posted an entry during a specific time period but don't want to have to scroll through several pages of months just to drill it down. =/

Drat it, they put in the option to search on a *particular* date, not a range of dates. *sigh* And I got so excited when they said they'd implemented it....

For editing security, paid users have access to a mass security change tool which will change the security of all uncomplicated-security entries (no custom friends groups) for a date range.

The single entry view, in most styles, has a link to edit that entry right there, so one doesn't then have to go back to the edit entries page and enter the date.
