Revamping the memories system

Short, concise description of the idea
Revamp the memories section to look/work more like the Messages Inbox.

Full description of the ideaThe memories would be revamped so that categories/keywords would be in a column on the left and links memmed would be in a larger right column (just like with the Messages Inbox ( Read more... )

I'd love this. I'm sure I'd use Memories more if we had more options...

Oh, very interesting. It had never occurred to me that the Inbox interface would work for memories, but now that you mention it, I could see it working quite well!

I like this idea! I've been using the memories since I started using LJ, but I've only recently started using them actively and made a system out of them. One of the things I've missed is the fact that you can't make a comment to the entry, maybe to remind yourself why you mem'd that particular one in the first place. I also agree that the management of them aren't exactly user friendly.
