Ability to share the page of all public memories formatted in the same way as a Friends page (variant: share public memories from a specific memory category, named "Highlights")

Ooh, I really like this idea. That would make "your list of memories" seem more like part of *your* journal - more "*I* think these are interesting LJ posts," rather than "just another LJ feature."

Really, I would love to see the memories feature given a bit of a polish overall - make it quicker to enter and categorize memories; have someone write a variant on the delicious firefox extension that would make entering memories that quick and easy. It's *not* tags, but it is another good feature that I think could be taken way better advantage of with a bit of improvement.

Yes! I've always wished memories would display as another view on your journal. Something like http://yourusername.livejournal.com/memories/, http://yourusername.livejournal.com/memories/?cat=photography, etc, and using the same display as the Friends view (only less the two-week age limit on entries).

There should be no privacy concerns as long as people use the privacy tools already given to them when adding the memories, yes?

This would make memories so much more useful, and also a more viable alternative to tags.
