I haven't ever hit my voice post limit, but I can see definite benefits to this suggestion for other people.

I don't voice post that much myself. But my 86 year old mother in law is starting to put her childhood stories up in a journal, and talking is easier than typing.

What a great idea! So this would work really well for her! What would've worked even better for her was when the voice post length was unlimited. That's why I stopped voiceposting, sometimes 5 minutes is not long enough, and I chafe at using up extra voiceposts to handle what could logically have been done in one in the past.

However she accomplishes it, I wish you both good luck... that sounds like a cool thing to do.

Five minutes is about right for one story. And it encourages her to keep on topic. But sometimes she wants to do three or four at once, which chews up a bunch of voice posts.

I like this! I don't voicepost enough to use this, but I can see how it would be useful to others. Also, it's much better than just raising the number of voiceposts per month, as (like you said), there may be months where a user voiceposts rarely, and months where a user voiceposts heaviliy.
