Mass deletion is a bit risky. One reason I have been quoted for not allowing mass deletion is that in case of an account break-in, the intruder could delete all journal content far too easily.

Indeed. Likely never to happen, as far as I'm aware.

It might not be easy to implement, but it would be soooooo useful. If possible, I vote yes.

I would be concerned about someone meaning to change one or two changes, and accidently causing damage to other entries (deleting the text field of an entry they didn't mean to touch, for instance). Whenever you open that edit interface, you're running the risk of causing changing your entry in a way you can't easily undo- or can't undo at all. If you're opening one interface with 10 or 20 entries, you're uping that risk ( ... )

I'm only suggesting the ability to change status from the entry list. I specifically suggest the option for those who want to do no text editing at all. The menus available on the single entry edit are the only options I really want to see migrated onto the list page as a mass-edit option.

Hope that makes sense?

Yes! I actually found this post by trying to find an application for just that.

I thought there was something that did it - at least that was wishful thinking, I'm surprised that it hasn't been yet, considering the usefulness.
