Results of a poll are only displayed to the user that created the poll.

I suggest "results visible only to author" and "results anonymous". The original post is a great suggestion.

How goes the status on this voting for Blind Polling? If it gets a 'yea' from the lj team, how long does implementation take?

I think this idea is superb, btw.
