It would be really nice if the voice post auto-play button would have a slidebar so you could fast-forward, pause, resume and even perhaps a volume control.

I think a pause button would be nice, in addition to the stop button. Aside from that, I don't want these other features. I don't want to see a whole embedded music player every time someone on my friends list makes a phone post. The current player is nicely unobtrusive and small.

yeah, the volume's not that big of a deal since we all have our own volume control.. pretty much the fastforward/rewind button it what i'm looking for, since i'm sure we've all had the problem of navigating away and having to restart again :P

Yeah! Just replace "stop" with "pause" and add directional controls. I like the small footprint of the playback, but I think such things could be fit in rather easily.
