Editing access for syndicated feeds

Short, concise description of the idea
Several times each month, I see: [Error: Irreparable invalid markup in entry. Owner must fix manually. Raw contents below.] in a syndicated journal entry. Some mechanism is needed for rapidly correcting these entries.

That problem is easy to fix: Send mail to the originator of the feed asking them to fix their content.

Except in cases where the "author" doesn't actually create that content: GMANE lists, for example, use a perfectly acceptable address escaping format, but LiveJournal's parser barfs on it, because it is pretending something is a tag which really isn't.

In cases like that, the fault clearly lies with LiveJournal, rather than with the content creator.

of course, I still think this suggestion is ridiculous: Where would you get the moderators? Those kind of people don't just come from nowhere.

Ah, good point. But yes, the LiveJournal bug should be fixed, not institutionalized.
