Allow @livejournal.com addresses from other accounts to be the email address specified for an account, if that address is valid.

What happens if a user's paid account expires?

Hmm....good point. I wasn't worried about that, since I'm a perm, but that could be an issue. Of course, that's an issue with external email accounts going bad too, and at least this way we know it's happened. So I don't see how that's any worse than me, say, using my @lclark.edu account, which will only be good for one year after I graduate, with no option for renewal at all. (This is the account I had to use, since it wouldn't let me use my LiveJournal one. I'm trying not to use it anymore, since I graduate in May.)

I think it would be good to allow this, but only for communities. They are the ones that most need it (so you can put in a public email address that isn't really public without needing paid time for the community). And I just think you'll have less user error this way.
