I'd like LiveJournal to establish a separate tab/setting to access the "Just Me" Journal and the "Public" Journal so that depending on which tab you select, you get the appearance of the journal which is visible to only you or the public journal.

I wanted exactly this, so I created links in my menu bar showing my public, locked, and private entries.

Keep in mind these are only available for Paid/Perm members, though. Basic/Plus users can't use this.
