Y'know, I had a Scrapbook/Fotobilder client I wrote in Java a while ago...

It was actually fairly obtuse and sloppy under the hood (one of the first object-oriented projects I ever came up with), but if I really really tried, I could probably convert it into Android, write a new UI for it, and have it react to the picture-sharing Intent. Actually had an idea like that a while ago, but I had a few other Android projects I wanted to work on first.

No promises, though, but I'll at least think of it.

I would love this as an Android user (so +1 to the suggestion)!

In the meantime there is a simpler workaround you can use than what you are describing right now. It'll work great since you are a permanent account holder :) Just follow the directions here to upload pictures to your ScrapBook via email. It'll automatically post your email subject as the subject line and the email body as the entry text, along with your picture.

(I spend a lot of time answering questions about ScrapBook so if you'd like any help with anything related to it feel free to open a Support request!)

Not an Android user; I use BlackBerry. ;) But still... I'd actually rather not use post-by-email to do this because I discovered that the email account login info is stored on a third-party server (blackberry.com, but still) when I tried to set up my BlackBerry to use email. I ended up having to change my Gmail password to be on the safe side.

So yeah, I'm in favor of this in theory (although if it could be expanded to include BlackBerry, it'd be even better for me XD ).
