Privacy matters

Short, concise description of the idea
I hope there was a way I could hide the 'Date Created' and 'Last Updated' information in my Profile page.

I'm against this suggestion. I don't see any valid privacy issues, but I can see many uses for that information. The stats are useful to potential new friends and community maintainers approving membership requests. They're also useful to existing friends who just want to know if someone is still around or not - the difference between an abandoned journal and one that went to a more restricted privacy level.

This seems like a good idea, however, members of our community wouldn't be let in if they didn't have this displayed - we don't want leechy/inactive/non-productive/bot users. So if this was implemented I'd hope they would keep your toggle idea in thought.
